Welfare

Market Drayton Swimming Club is affiliated to Swim England, swimming's national governing body.  As such, we are committed to ensuring that all children who participate in aquatic activity are able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be safeguarded from harm.

The welfare of children is everyone's' responsibility.  All children and young people have a right to have fun, be safe and be protected from harm.

The club follows the Swim England Wavepower recommendations for child safeguarding and protection.

Market Drayton Swimming Club has 2 welfare officer Adele Scott and Rebecca Havvas. If a swimmer has any concerns or worries, or if any person is concerned or worried about the welfare of a swimmer, they should speak to the club coaches or contact the club welfare officer.  Contact details -  mdscwelfare@hotmail.com
